The Great American Road Trip continues

The Great American Green Road Trip

Day #6

Bumper-to-bumper traffic in Denver and a late night drive to Laramie, Wyoming produced the same results for the Prius as we have seen most of this trip, 43.7 mpg. Having drive the Prius now for over 1,000 miles in 7 days, I can assure you that this is one comfortable car to drive.

Here's a few photos of why we are doing this. God has given us such beauty, we need to take care of it. These are a few shots from the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. The view is breath-taking!

Again, Major League baseball joins the green team.

I failed to mention that our hotel two nights ago, while not the greatest, was using all CFLs for the room lighting.

It is interesting to see where small changes are occuring and how the individual efforts form a patchwork quilt that results in significant changes over time.
